Classically trained with a BFA in Illustration from the School of Visual Arts, artist Shane Douberly likes to blaze a variety of interesting trails across the creative landscape. His illustrations and paintings have gained an active national following, and Shane’s interest in horror and science fiction is reflected in his graphic-novel work, as well as his own filmmaking and the movie and festival posters he’s created for fellow rising artists in the industry.

As a founder of the award-winning animation studio Dripsblack, he’s built a solid reputation for innovative commercial work, designing motion graphics and visual campaigns for some of the world’s most prominent brands.

But the ink-slinging hero isn’t just about the studio, as he and his wife Kristin enjoy family time, movies and getting away from it all in their vintage camper. Throw in a feisty Cairn terrier (Fig) and his Shih Tzu partner in crime (Nutmeg), and Shane and Kristin have their hands enjoyably full.
